After extreme storms on Thursday afternoon and Judy Masters Park being closed until just after 11.00am on Friday morning the Centenary Cup was finally bought to a brilliant closing with an exceptional Cup Final which saw Southern Districts defeat Gladesville-Hornsby 2-1 in a classic.

Thursday morning we arrived at a very windy (but thankfully dry) Judy Masters Park at Balgownie for the final round of preliminary matches which would ultimately determine the Cup and Plate quarter finalists.

After some heavy showers and very threatening weather conditions, the clouds parted and the sun shone though on the second day of competition in the 2010 Centenary Cup at Balgownie.

All roads headed south this week for the staging of the annual Centenary Cup at the very picturesque Judy Masters Park in the Balgownie foothills.

The Football NSW Centenary Cup 2010 tournament will be staged for the second time at Judy Masters Park, Para Road (off Balgownie Road), Balgownie and will be hosted by the historic Balgownie Junior Football Club, the second oldest club in Australia on Tuesday 6th April.
