The Football NSW State Titles are conducted annually by Community Football for boys Grades 11-16 and girls Grades 12-14-16 and are an essential part of the recognised pathway for State team selection.

The titles are split between July and October for selection purposes and are traditionally held in the Country areas to promote the games in the rural areas of the state of New South Wales.

The State Titles are open to all players from Youth League, Metropolitan Representative League, Metropolitan and Country Association club teams.

The Champion of Champions tournament is conducted by Community Football and is the pinnacle of Association based competition from all over the State.

The Champions of those age groups listed hereunder from every Association (Metropolitan & Country) are pitted against each other in a knockout style competition to decide the ultimate Champion of Champions in each age group.

The Finals of the Champion of Champions tournament are held at Valentine Sports Park and are the highlight of the Community Football season.

  • Association Representative Over 45 Men
  • Girls/Ladies: 12  14  16  18  AA Ladies

The State, Robertson and Bill Cullinan Cups knockout tournaments are conducted by Community Football for Association based male and female teams and Country Association representative or club teams.

This tournament attracts over 700 entries each season and is an opportunity for teams from all areas of Football NSW to compete against teams from outside their own Association.

The Finals of this tournament will be played at Valentine Sports Park for the final time in 2009 before our exciting move to Riverstone.

Mitchell Cup, Mitchell Shield & Proctor Challenge

The Mitchell Cup, Mitchell Shield and Proctor Challenge are pre-season tournaments for Women and Girls State League, representative and Metropolitan and Country Association based teams.

These tournaments are staged by Community Football on behalf of the Bathurst District Soccer Association and held annually in February at the Proctor Park playing fields in Bathurst.

PROCTOR CHALLENGE: 

AGE GROUPS: 12-14-16 Ladies.

LEVEL:Youth League & Association Club teams.          

MITCHELL CUP

LEVEL: All Age Ladies at Premier League & Super League level. Country Representative teams.

MITCHELL SHIELD

LEVEL: All Age Ladies teams from Association Clubs.

The Sydney Cup (formerly called the Metropolitan Cup) is a knockout tournament conducted by Community Football on behalf of Sydney Branch for those junior grades not covered in the SRC Cups.

This tournament is open to all Metropolitan Association club teams and gives players a chance to play teams from outside their own Association.

The finals of this tournament in 2009 will be played for the final time at Valentine Sports Park before Football NSW exciting move to Riverstone.

AGE GROUPS:

  • Boys:   11  13  15  17           

The Centenary Cup Tournament is annual conducted by Community Football at Judy Masters Park, Para St Balgownie on the South Coast and is for Grade 12 teams from the Metropolitan Representative League, Country Association Representative teams and invited teams from interstate.

The Frank Broughton Cup is conducted by Community Football for Grade 11 Metropolitan Representative and Country Association Representative teams and is named in memory of Mr Frank Broughton in recognition of his many years of administrative and registrar service to football at both his local Canterbury Association and at State Level.

This tournament is held annually over the Queen’s Birthday holiday weekend in June at Valentine Sports Park.

The Country Cup tournament is conducted by Community Football for the Country Representative teams and is held over the Queen’s Birthday holiday weekend at venues within the Riverina, Southern and Western Branches.

This annual tournament affords the Country players the opportunity to play against teams from outside their Branch but restricted to the Country.
